We established VMC in 1998 as a company to assist
small to medium sized businesses in their marketing and sales efforts.
Our primary business objective was to create credible and objective value
estimation tools for Sales, Marketing and Executive Management.
Our ROI Selling methodology is in use throughout the world at companies
like HP, GEAC, Oracle and Rockwell Software. In 1998, our first client,
Great Plains Software needed a way to bring consistency to their partner
network. With over 1500 business partners reselling Great Plains products,
their challenge of getting consistent data in a format that was useful and
productive was difficult if not impossible. We created a model that included
a standardized Needs Analysis Questionnaire and graphical financial dashboard.
Also, we supplied a comprehensive manual and training program to promote
the ROI Selling model to their internal sales force and partners.
In 1999, we incorporated under the name ROI4Sales,
Inc. This move focused
us on our domain expertise and told a story we felt needed to be
told. Simply put, we build ROI Sales tools for companies to use
in their sales process,
marketing and Sales Force Automation systems.
Late 1999, we took our unique methodology and obtained copyrights to protect
its integrity. Our next client, Hewlett Packard contracted with us to build
a comprehensive multi-currency, multi cultural value estimation model. This
version of ROI Selling was designed to give HP a needed competitive edge
in a market that had too many vendors already. ROI Selling helped build
confidence in the sales force and helped educate many of their support staff
and management on the industry issues, pains and goals.
We have automated and trained thousands of sales personnel on ROI Selling.
We have delivered ROI Selling models to companies of all sizes from startups
to many Fortune 50 companies, and into many different sectors of the market.
We have extensive experience in CRM, SFA, Strategic Sourcing, e-procurement,
Enterprise Accounting, HR/Staffing, Automotive Web Software, Property Management,
Construction applications, Banking, Call Centers and B2B exchanges.
Finally, ROI Selling has advanced significantly in the past six years.
We are very proud of our progress and hope to continue building on our foundation.
